Of course the Beastcast is going out on top with the best crew in the world for the best number one podcast in the universe. There are simply too many incredible moments to enumerate so I will just say that every person brought their best to GBeast and we are all forever grateful for the chance to share it for as long as it lasted.
Vinny really outdid himself building a studio out of that broom closet. More importantly he built a team like no other. No one can ever take that away. As bittersweet as it is right now, seeing Austin, Abby, and Dan thriving in their new life after Giant Bomb makes me hopeful that everything is going to work out. You're all extremely talented, thoughtful, creative, and funny people who will continue to bring tremendous joy to this world.
Thank you Vinny, Brad, and Alex! We will never be able to repay the immense joy and immeasurable fun you have brought to so many people for so long. From Vinny's boundless positivity and energy, to Brad's aww-shucks charm and curiosity, and Alex's mix of sardonic wit plus wholesome moments of genuine reflection.
You stuck it out longer than anyone could have reasonably expected. It is heart-wrenching to say goodbye just as everyone is starting to make plans and hope for the new possibilities coming out of the pandemic. For all the times you put the site on your shoulders to carry it through thick and thin, you absolutely deserved an opportunity to celebrate overcoming one last crisis, together in person.
