    Retro City Rampage

Game » consists of 36 releases. Released Oct 09, 2012

An action-packed, deliberately-retro parody of video games and pop culture from the era of 8-bit game consoles, Retro City Rampage is a nostalgic twist on the mass-mayhem open-world action of Grand Theft Auto.

Retro City Rampage is coming on October 9! YAY!

For 15 bucks you can purchase Retro City Rampage on the PS3, PS Vita, and PC on October 9th in North America. The European version will be released this month too! The WiiWare and XBLA version don't have a date yet, but they're coming later this year!

Check out the trailer to see what the fuss is all about!

Assuming Microsoft doesn't decide to be difficult. They "reserve the right to reject" any XBLA title that's released first on a competing platform, something Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath and quite likely Trine experienced.

That's incredibly dumb. I'm glad PSN and Nintendo Network don't have such an idiotic policy.

@Wong_Fei_Hung: It clearly has benefits for Microsoft - "word on the street" is that the PS3 and Vita versions of Retro City Rampage were ready to go this summer, and the release was held up simply because of issues getting it out on XBLA. But I guess the developer got tired of waiting and decided to roll the dice. A shame, because it would had a lot less competition in the summer, especially on the Vita, while now it's going up against crowded release schedule.

Its about damn time. I've been waiting for this forever.
Bad date for it, though. They should've pushed for last week.
Still... hope it is as good as it looks and does well.

I'd much rather have the XBLA version, but I'll probably end up getting the PSN version because I'm an impatient bastard.
