I know its an awesome song but I feel like they have better songs out there. Like thunderstruck, hells bells, back in black, highway to hell, razors edge. Hopefully they will have more in the 20 song download! What do you think?

Anyone else a little dissapointed in the ac/dc track?
"I would hazard to guess we'll be seeing those pretty soon."I agree. If the AC/DC boys gave in and allowed their stuff in a music game, future DLC from the band seems likely.
All of their songs are awesome (or well at least Bon Scott era), but a lot of the more popular ones would be pretty easy and repetitive.
Let there be rock has length, more variety then most of their songs, and is an example of some great guitar work/solos from Angus.
Then I also think that the games producers wouldn't want songs of the ilk of Givin' the Dog a Bone & Let Me Put My Love into You.
Of course I would love something like Soul Stripper, Baby, Please Don't Go, For Those About To Rock, Rocker, Beating Around The Bush, or any number of other songs (because AC/DC are just that awesome).
"its got 3 guitar solos in it so i think its a good choice. Yea there are better songs but well probably be seeing those in the future"Yes they do have better songs (it is still a great song), but I think it is probably one of their best songs for Rock Band.
Having the most famous songs is boring though. Everyone knows Back In Black, but don't you enjoy finding songs that you aren't familiar with that you fall in love with or have a lot of fun playing?
I can understand putting this one in. It has more depth for the players. Because there great hits sometimes have repetitive riffs in them. Not detracting from the greatness of the song, but I could see a lot more depth with this song.
"Wow disagree completly, i absolutely love this song, Angus' guitar hits you right in the gut, and the lyrics are really hysterical with the parody of the bible, oh and Bon Scott is too funny in the video to the song, how can you not just absolutely love this song,I personally prefer the live version from If You Want Blood You've Got It
I think this is actually a really cool choice. Sure, there was initial disappointment that it wasn't Back in Black (which I'd love to play). But since the song itself is a love letter to Rock music, it seems a natural for a game called Rock Band. Plus Angus' great guitar work in the song has a lot of variety and will be a blast to play. It's darn cool to see that there are usable masters from that early in AC/DC's career. That bodes well for future DLC. These guys were one of THE bands I've wanted to see in a rock game since GH 1. So I'm thrilled that the first step has been taken, and hopefully we'll a lot more AC/DC in the future.
Thunderstruck should have been the song they should have used or any other one thats actually famous. Like Razor's Edge or Big Balls.
"I know its an awesome song but I feel like they have better songs out there. Like thunderstruck, hells bells, back in black, highway to hell, razors edge. Hopefully they will have more in the 20 song download! What do you think?"In an interview with X-Play, when asked why some hit songs by hit bands were in here (AC/DC, GnR) they stated that they want all of the instruments to be fun.
I call BS on that. 'Let There Be Rock' Doesn't have much singing, the beat is always the same, etc. If they wanted to put an AC/DC track in here, I would be more than happy to have 'You Shook Me All Night Long' or 'Highway To Hell'.
C'mon, man. Let There Be Rock is an amazing band song. It's a song that really explains rock, through rock music. You can't ask for much more than that.
The guitar parts are some of the best AC/DC has ever come up with. The singing is more of a narration for the song, as it has this really great storytelling edge to it--but it's still in rock form. The parts when the guitar cut out are awesome--there's nothing else to say about that.
Also, we know that "Shoot to Thrill" from the Live at Donington set will be in Rock Band at some point.
All I can say, really, is that you're going to be pleasantly surprised with how this song plays in the game.
Saying "I feel like they have better songs out there like Thunderstruck" is basically like saying no one should ever write music again because perfection in the field of music has already been achieved :P
"After watching a video of it on guitar, I think it looks like tons of fun to play, and I understand why they put it in the game. Do I want there big hits like TNT, Back in Black, and Thunderstruck? Of course, and I bet we'll see more AC/DC in the future."Not only is an "AC/DC" version of Rock Band rumored, there's also a rumor of a Live at Donington pack coming in October.
