Australians are known to be shunned all the time when it comes to video games. Whether it be with censors or games being released here a few months later than the rest of the world for some unknown reason. But there is one game which has been out in the US for over a year now, and is not scheduled to be released in Australia anytime soon. Rock Band 2.
This is not a game that is filled with extreme violence or sex, so there is no reason this game would be banned in Australia so, why the hell isn't in stores here? Somehow the first game was released here and Guitar Hero World Tour and 5 were released the same time as the rest of the world, so we are stuck with the shitty DLC offerings from Guitar Hero.
There is an 15 page forum thread on Rock Band.com along with many others, all without a official response from Harmonix.
So for those of you who live outside of Australia, do you think this is ridiculous, can you think of any reason as to why they refuse release it here?
