    Guitar, I play RB. But on PS3 in Europe, so there's never anyone.
     
    It's way harder because of chords and solos and leads.

    I was playing Smash Hits at my friends house and the Bass is a lot harder for me due to the open notes. But without open notes, Guitar is almost always harder.

    I'm pretty sure guitar is about 10x more difficult than bass. In both games.

    Guitar is more difficult in general, but there are a handful of songs that are the other way around.

    In Rock Band guitar is overall more difficult, with a few exceptions on certain songs.
     
    On recent Guitar Hero games it's a bit closer, due to the open notes on bass which mess me up, though none of that compares to the guitar solos you have to play.

    I actually like the open bass notes. I have no problem with them.
