Wow, just wow... I am so completely and utterly shocked at this point. I feel like a member of my family has passed, as I've gotten to know him through the various episodes of the Bombcast and through following this site. My deepest, deepest condolences to Ryan's family and friends and to the Giant Bomb crew. We have all certainly lost a great human being. He will most definitely be sorely missed. Longtime listener who was lucky enough to meet Ryan and Vinny at a PR event for a game I was working on a few years ago. Ended up sharing a couple of beers with them and chatting for around an hour as things wound down, and was struck by how genuine they both were.

So sorry for everyone close to Ryan, especially his new wife, his family and Jeff.

What a tragedy.

I obviously didn't know Ryan but this seems like a horrible nightmare right now that I can't wake up from. I can't even begin to imagine how the guys at Giant Bomb are feeling right now. I don't even know what to say. I can't fathom listening to another Bombcast without hearing Ryan's voice say "It's Tuesday!" I seriously feel like I just lost a dear friend. RIP.
