Safal Kapoor was born on November 26, 1987 in Varanasi, India. With a background in computer engineering, he started making independent web and PC games as a one person team in his University days. He was a part of a startup - Sourcebits since 2010 as a Game Designer. He designed multiple mobile games under the publishing banner - Wandake, as one of the pioneers of the smartphone gaming platforms. Sourcebits received 10 Million in investment from IDG Ventures and Sequoia Capitals in 2011. It was later acquired by Globo in 2014, after which Safal moved to Electronic Arts and worked on titles like Tetris Blitz and Tetris Classic on Mobile. He has been working with Miniclip Games, Lisbon since 2015 as a senior Game Designer, and works on Titles like 8 Ball Pool, Archery Kings, Bowling King etc.
