In Sand is the Soul you take on the role of a diplomatic messenger whose main objective is to deliver a depeche of the utmost importance, though the choice to accomplish this mission is put into the hands of the player. Every decision made during the playthrough has consequences and influences the surrounding world. Going rogue will make him a wanted villain or failing to battle the Sand curse makes him see the world in a distorted and twisted way. There are many more possibilities of developing the player’s character which are directly linked to various entwined game mechanics like a morality system, notoriety, his attitude towards Mother Nature and many more.
