So, the Scribblenauts site has got a makeover. In some regognition of this, or at least for some random reason, I will start this thread.
 
Well, assuming the first level is with the starrite in the tree (as it shows on the home), how do you plan to solve the first level?
 
As for me, I will attempt to cut the tree down by shooting it with a gun. If I can't, then explosives. If not, then Max will call upon a black hole and commit suicide because he couldn't even solve the first level. Or at least, that's what my imagination will claim it to be.

I plan on setting my DS on fire. If the game is as revolutionary as they say it is, the DS will detect itself on fire and burn down the tree for me. Everybody knows that stars are fireproof, so it's a perfect plan!

Spawn a cat in the tree and then a fireman and a ladder, and trick the fire man into getting the star down as he tries to get the cat!

TNT down the tree, have a dog fetch me the star from it's landing point.

Termites.

Create a fire around the tree and spawn a lumberjack. I'll place an axe at the base of the tree, across from the fire. Behind the lumberjack will be a bear. The lumberjack will have to prove his devotion to his creator by jumping through the fire and gettting the axe, cutting down the tree and killing the bear. 
 
If that doesn't work I'll just rope together a baby with a steak and I'll spawn a tiger. Oh wait, that's already been done.

ill spawn a tiger with a chainsaw to cut it down for me....

I'll have David Blaine levitate it out of the tree.
