    Set in an era of classic piracy, Sea of Thieves is a first-person open-world game where players form a crew of pirates and sail off to find treasure. As it is a "shared world" game, pirate crews can encounter other crews and engage in epic maritime skirmishes.

    This game could have been a masterpiece, that's why it’s such a travesty it fell so short.

    This is an incredibly difficult game to score. I’m very conflicted, I love it, but hate that there isn’t more quest content and rewarding progression. This game could have been a masterpiece, that's why it’s such a travesty it fell so short. But I have had so much fun playing this game with friends and alone while watching Netflix on the side. I have played 40+ hours and will play a lot more.

    This game doesn't deserve 4 out of 5 on paper, but I have scored it on how much I have enjoyed my time with this game.

    All I can do is hope this game will be supported and become the game it should have been at launch!
