    Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4

    Game » consists of 5 releases. Released Jul 10, 2008

    Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 is a role-playing game developed and published by Atlus for the PlayStation 2. It is chronologically the fifth installment in the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona series. Like its predecessor, its gameplay combines a traditional role-playing game with elements of a social simulation. Its critical and commercial success spawned a sizable media empire, including several spinoff titles.

    Justice or Strength can be XI, depending on the deck. There are like a gazillion different Tarot decks.

    So you actually have physical copies of those cards? Do they serve any purpose? Like, can you play card games with them? Still, good job. Maybe it's just me, but it seems that GB's wiki aspect has taken a bit of a backseat nowadays. Someone ought to make a big article on P4's page about each card and the characteristics of their respective arcanas.

    @dudacles: They are an actual deck of Tarot cards, only the designs are unique to Persona. http://www.paranormality.com/tarot_cards_mjr_arcana.shtml. Drawing one reversed is bad etc.

    Theres other cards from the deck not used in P4, but they were used in P3.

    @SmashedControllers: Have been looking for a Persona set, where did you find it?

    That's pretty cool. I mean,  tarot cards used "for real" is ridiculous, but the persona cards are definitely cool looking.

    Not neccesarily, a lot of people also lay Tarot only with the 22 major Arcana, but again you could use the images from P3 as minor Arcana.
    Minor cards are ace to ten plus the four royal cards for each "element", just to clear that up.
    In Tarot there are no upright or reversed cards btw, which was Atlus' own idea, since all cards meaning depend on their context
    I'm not too serious about real Tarot but it's interesting to see how most of the characters really resemble their S-link Arcana card.

    I fixed it, I guess. The wording of "used only once" seems to have confused some people. What I meant was, only one persona has it. I changed it, so that should prevent anything in the future.

    In that case World is also represented in P4 by a certain person...

    Not really.  Admittedly I haven't paid much attention to P4, and am playing through P3 at the moment, but I've almost completed the Kenji-magician social and the girl that plays the computer game-hermit social, and both of them seem to represent the bad sides of their respective tarot meditation.  The 1st Arcana is so much more then being a blind, pompous jerk that thinks he can do whatever he wants as long as he sets his mind to it, and the 9th Arcana has nothing to do with being anti-social, but forging your own path towards the divine in fact of the difficulty.
     
    Thanks for uploading the cards OP, they're pretty cool.

    Aeon is Aigis' Social Link arcana.  And they do explain what each arcana means; through the personality and the story of the characters that they represent, Mr. Edogawa in Persona 3 talks about the different arcana and what they describe and...

    Nyx basically gives the definition of each arcana in the final battle in Persona 3.

    @SmashedControllers: That's honestly going to clutter up the page. Having the characters on there already is a bit much, but they are well done at least. Put the arcana meanings on the Tarot card page if there is one, if not, create it.
