Super glad to see more horror representation on the site and especially Silent Hill! Really hope this at least goes through 2 & 3, everyone gushes about how good 2 is (which is accurate, it's fantastic) but 3 is also really great too.

I love how confident Jan was when saying that Tekken was the game with beating up the car (it was actually Street Fighter 2).

Literally last week I was thinking about looking up a Let's Play of the Silent Hill games. Perfect timing.

Omg Jan and Voidburger are a great combo. I think this will be my favorite current series for awhile. So glad she joined the crew!

@janman I'm sure someone else has already mentioned it, but you can actually set most emulators to interpret the analog sticks as D-pad movement for games which didn't support true analog. It can really help on some games!

In Retroarch, for example, it's under Settings -> Input -> User 1 Binds -> Set User 1 Analog to Digital Type to Left Analog.

Man this is so cool. Not only is Jess making more Silent Hill content but she is doing it at Giant Bomb with Jan. This will be a great supplement to my yearly viewing of the Silent Hill LPs since I'm too lazy to play the game myself.

I like tank controls in these games. It's less fluid for sure, but my brain adapts really quickly.

Hyped for this series as I've never played any of these games!

Good premise. Jess isn't used to having a second person on screen it feels like. Seems more used to doing her own twitch stream maybe. Just need to relax and be more natural/not try as hard.

Oh man, Jess' knowledge of silent hill trivia is amazing. I have played this series to the death, but every 15 minutes it feels like she mentions something that I had never heard about. I'm excited to see more! :D

I love that Jan drops a reference to Metal Gear Scanlon in the first few minutes of this. Feels very fitting. Very much looking forward to Jess doing the equivalent of Dan talking Drew through the most bananas moments of Sons of Liberty.
