As someone who was born ON Thanksgiving, the whole "Halloween is over so time to fire up Christmas" on November 1st is deplorable. Christmas needs to stay the *F* out of the first three weeks of November.

This made me feel like I might exercise today but then I ate lunch and just felt like napping instead.

I agree with Black Friday as the Xmas demarcation line. Thanksgiving is Food Christmas, and we deserve 12 foot tall turkey lawn decorations with glowing red eyes and unconscionable energy consumption.

@maxxcanti: GB is owned by corporate. Also, Jeff was already leaving and they let him go early. It would make sense to be outrage if he was fired out of no where.

@kaungo: Owned by "corporate"? What does that mean and why should it matter? I'm not saying GB needs to report this story, but that seems irrelevant. If you're trying to imply that there's a corporate mandate against talking about it, that's a bold accusation. First, they're owned by Fandom, so you'd think their new ownership wouldn't care about them speaking about what happened under Red Ventures. But more importantly, I would hope someone like Grubb would not abide by that kind of suppression if he really thought it was newsworthy. I think it's more likely that they just don't want to talk about it.
