Time for a new podcast

Audio isn't great in this, think John tweeted that they'd try and fix it on monday.

The podcast seems to start over around the 5:00 mark. I've had this happen 3 times when starting at 5:00, 5::30, and 7:00. Hopefully, it gets fixed soon.

Oh good, wasn't just me. I was wondering why the podcast stopped for reason, but I could hear the imperfections clip in and out.

The audio is so bad I just made an account to say this.

Oh, I thought it was just me but it's reassuring to hear other ppl having the same problem. Yeah choppy/zippy clips in the audio. At one point, it even went "dead" (no sound, but playing progress) however I was able to fix this somehow simply by scrubbing the timeline?? Weird.

iOS/iPhone 4s, using the default podcast app.

John did say there would hopefully be a fix Monday, so I'll just wait until then to listen.

We're sorry about that! According to JJ, the master of the file sounded fine, so it seems like it maybe got borked in the process of uploading?

It's the weekend here in Japan, but as JJ is usually the first one to get into the office, I'm sure he'll have it up soon.

I see a lot of people complain about Weekend Confirmed, the same people every week. I wonder why they keep giving the show chances. I guess I should ask myself the same about 8-4.

I listen to a podcast that usually has audio this bad or worse so I didn't mind the distortions or whatever. Anyway, I rather enjoyed the immediate hostility toward "Dunkin' Donuts."

The audio wasn't bad enough for me not to listen, need my 8-4 Play fix this weekend so listening now

I was just outside listening to it over headphones and didn't have that big of a problem with the audio.

iOS app Downcast keeps pausing the audio around the corrupt parts of the show. Restarting works but it may immediately pause again...

I guess I will wait for the fixed version.

My iphone doesn't like this one.

LIES!!!!

I got in my car this morning excited to listen to the new episode. The audio glitches I could deal with, but the file was so broken the iPod kept stopping and kicking back out to the episode select menu. :/ Waiting in anticipation for the fixed version.

Oh well, that sucks. Looking forward to listening to it, though! I need to know who won the Intern Death Match.

JJ was listening to the master file with no issues at all. So hopefully just something went wrong with the upload and it should be fine come Monday.

Same thing happening with Instacast app. Please see that this gets fixed in the future.

Podcast has been fixed! Turns out the problem was with Libsyn's FTP server or something. Uploading via the web interface fixed the problem completely. Sorry for the wait!

That English guy needs to stop his high rising terminal. It sounds so very irritating. It just makes him unsure about everything he is saying. Just speak normal english mate!

Great podcast, guys. Just a small correction during the Pandora's Tower chat - the female character, Elena, eats monster flesh, not hearts, to stay human. I just started playing the game during the weekend and I agree, an HD upres would definitely make the game look better.
