Good one. (Also, just finished Odyssey -main story at least- and so I can't stop thinking about it.)

If you look at the history of Naughty Dog and played TLOU you would know that the world in which those characters are in is violent, FUBAR and at all times dangerous. This trailer showed that and introduced new characters within that dark world in an intriguing way. It got me interested in these new people and how they tie into Joel and Ellie's story. Was that Ellie's mom? Is this the beginning of the game and you play for a while as her mom? Many of these articles were literally made a few hours after the trailer dropped with a narrative to fit their agenda, to stir up controversy, saying that Naughty Dog is using violence to sell video games with no research to back it up. Maybe I'm wrong and overly sensitive because TLOU is my favorite game of all time, but many of these opinions seemed very uninformed about the world of TLOU. If this wasn't a sequel, then maybe these opinions would be more appropriate, but it is a sequel. And anyone who played the first game knows this is that world, dark, dangerous and brutal while always showing glimpses of hope to pull you through to the next chapter.

On a side note, what's up with the Sony hate on this episode? Complaining that they have too many good games? Hating on God of War? weird, but to each their own I suppose

I feel like many game podcast, game writers, see the PS4 now as the band that made it to the top, became huge and now aren't as cool because of that fact.
