Oh man, I saw him live and it was the single most secondhand embarrassment I have ever felt. Went from funny to horrifying in ten seconds. He was wearing Michael Jackson gear.

First off let me say I'm surprised at the Friday the 13th snub.

Otherwise this episode was amazing, I don't think I've ever cried for so many different feelings while listening to something.

This album has the not-quite-real-music feel of Christian rock, but without the religious elements.

Between this and Anthony Fantano's review, im happy this album exists just for these videos tearing it down

Holy Shit. Respect to anybody who can make it through the whole album. I skipped through it and listend to maybe 5 minutes in total, and that was to already to much for me.

But it makes for a real fun episode.

I love how they always start wit the "Lucy how do you think this happenned?" bit.

The Batman is not a cop comparison broke me. Happy to have heard it but sorry they had to listen to the album.

This album took a decade to make and nearly that long to listen to. "Lickety Splickety" is one of the worst things I've heard all year, particularly the skit at the end Emily called out. Just major yikes all around on this one.

Also, I tried Googling NEON Energy Drink, and it autocompleted to "NEON Energy Drink Pyramid Scheme". The gang should interview Jeff Gerstmann, energy drink historian, on this.

Oh my goodness, this episode had everything; Neil Breen, Fred Durst, Giantbomb conspiracy theories; I laughed, I cried, I discovered empathy. It made the miserable slog of finishing both discs of the album worth it.

I’m admittedly a bit drunk but Zoot Suit Ryan made me stop and laugh for like 20 minutes

This whole episode took us on a journey! Thank you all for suffering for our entertainment.

This episode was so much fun, and thank goodness because after listening to that album I was ready for the big sleep. The psychic damage this album inflicts will spread like a disease to my partner and probably my therapist as I struggle to regain hope in the coming months or potentially years, we'll see how it goes.

I have to disagree with the crew here though; there's no way Corey isn't trolling. AoE critting everyone in earshot with a song about mercy is next fucking level.

Lastly, Courtney is a perfect little patootie who must be protected from this sonic violence at all cost.
