As a Portuguese guy, I think I would pay just to listen to English speaking people talking in Portuguese. There's something really gleeful about it.

That dutch commentator on my feed actually said something to the effect of

"that must have been a good bit of love making by Jos" during the podium celebrations.

Wich made me kind of chukle. The dude's been kind of losing his mind with enthusiasm this last season, he's been doing commentary since at least the early nineties and I think he's just verry happy we finally have a reasonably succesfull countryman to root for.

I second that, also Drew's Portuguese is getting really good! His only problem now is how he says the sharp vowels.

Indeed! Some Portuguese words can be tough to pronounce for English speakers, but he's definitely getting close. It sounded a bit like he was trying to speak Italian but I could totally understand the Portuguese sentences he said.

Dutch commentary of the great VES save. I don't see how anyone could deny him performance of the day.

The NBCSN team referenced his karting prowess as he went off the racing line in the incredible series of overtakes towards the end of the race. I think I've read that in dry conditions, rubber gets laid down so the driving line gains grip; in wet conditions, however, that rubber becomes slick compared to the relatively bare asphalt. Any thoughts?

I'm still rooting for Hamilton. I find Rosberg to be such a safety-first-I-hope-it-works-out-on-its-own driver, and that just makes him the antithesis of what New Formula 1 should be. I can't wait to see the battles Hamilton, Verstappen and Vettel are going to have in the new season.

Danny misheard him saying 'car controllah' , he actually said 'What a car control!' which is not dutch at all, he was just overwhelmed by emotions and went for the english term. The dutch term for car control would be ' controle over de auto'
