I love that brad makes flattens at one height and then starts flattening at another height and decides to ad a whole new layer instead of just undoing that small patch in which he accidentally did two layers :P

Hey Brad and Vinny. If either of you read this know that watching your astroneer streams synced up is absolutely a highlight of my pandemic week. They're such great, chill streams.

You should research the Medium Rover, and Drill Strength 1. Using the Chemistry Lab you can make all the things you need. Then you can make a power train to power up the teleporter.

Also the C, and V keys do various thing depending on the context. For the terrain tool, they cycle through the different modes (dig, flatten...). They turn things on and off on your left and right shoulders, which makes the horns more fun. You can also use them like that in vehicles too.

I love this series through both the parts where the crew are digging for the sheer fun of it and the parts where they're teching up and making "forward progress"!

My encouragement would be to get to a Medium Shuttle ASAP - they have all the equipment they need to make the materials and are on the right planet for the raw resources, and then they can have two players on the shuttle _and_ some resources/an oxygenator too!

Holding Ctrl creates a plane (if you keep extending this flat you'd create a literal side on the sphere (which would become a ramp))

Some advice going forward, get to Glacio and start working towards the largest shuttle (has four medium slots!)

Jesus dude I feel like the people in chat giving advice in these streams are just not actually watching the streams they're actively trying to give advice to. Like telling them to build a hydrazine booster when they don't even have the research points to unlock the booster, much less the atmospheric condenser required to actually make the steel. That's not to mention the part where it requires resources on planets they've literally never even been to.

I know you're dying to use that chemistry lab! Consider making aluminum alloy with it and a couple ceramic for a medium shuttle when you get the research. Can pack a Vinny and oxygenator, with some storage to spare. Just don't forget an extra thrusters!

@neocalypso: I feel like Brad’s approach to chat doesn’t help. Where it seems Vinny asks the chat when he specifically needs something, Brad spends half of his stream in chat. I think they have made a lot more progress if they were forced to solve things for themselves, rather then look for the chat “solutions”

Speaking of SPACE MADNESS, why did they completely rebuild their base?
