This looks neat! I do agree with Abby though that it is desperately missing a way to split ingredients into multiple recipes (and I checked, the “Splitter” item does not perform that task)

I saw the title and I knew immediately what kind of game this was and I was into it.

I do like how Abby refers "the ole grill" like she's someone's dad in 1967. :D

Regarding the cheese dispenser issue, you can have an order reader activate for multiple recipes. Then if you use two dumb arms to pick up from a conveyer belt connected to that dispenser, they seem to take turns if both are active. Or you can use additional order readers to only activate a specific dumb arm for a single recipe. That's one way I know to use a single dispenser for multiple recipes.

I got back into playing Infinifactory recently (actually gonna finish all the levels this time!), and it seems like this would scratch a similar itch. Thanks for the QL, looks fun.

I'm having a blast puzzling this game. I agree it's good for short stints of inspiration, so a Switch or ultimately a proper tablet version would probably be best for this game. I'm playing on Steam (however it's currently free for Twitch Prime subscribers) and it has workshop integration for new recipes, and ingredients, and maybe even new machines.[?] The PC version also allows you to select more than one object at a time and move or copy it. It just needs a H/V mirror flip function.

This game also has friggin computers you can program. I'm not far enough into the 'campaign' yet [which is more like an elongated tutorial] to know how though. There's also liquids apparently.

Any questions?

I think McDonalds has proven this, robots are 90% of the process of making their burgers.

The game could use some color. All of the parts having the same gray look makes it seem dull.

I'm just gonna say, recently, when the question of "what kind of game would be good for fast food" came up on one of the GB podcasts, I did come up with Factorio. And now, not much later, here it is.

Do you guys remember "Big Pharma". That one was very similar! Only a more boring business theme strapped to it.

I can't remember if it was said in the Quick Look, but this is 'free' on Twitch Prime this month.

It might not matter, but try building your machine backwards. So starting with the output. Just an idea.

I do wonder how this stacks up against Big Pharma. Haven't played both, but they seem fairly similar apart from the theme.
