Apologies if the popping is a little pervasive in this. First time with a new recorder, so I was still learning some of its quirks.

His answer makes me think it's still there, but with little to no changes.

The sooner Ledesma is gone from the WWE games the better.

I last played 2010, but I liked a lot of the stuff from 2k13.

Then largely as a result of the Powerbombcast I went and watched Summerslam and RAW this week and I think I'm back in for now. In which case I'll definitely be picking this up providing it holds up reasonably well (otherwise I'll go grab last year's).

Thanks for the interview Alex.

Great time to get back in. Summerslam was their best PPV in a while and everything seems to really be trending upwards.

Ledesma's comments about the WWE games being "too big to go over everything" are so discouraging. I haven't enjoyed Yukes's wrestling games for a very long time, and the fact that there is zero competition for it in the Western markets is super-disheartening.

The best outcome for me would be if 2K asked a second team to work on their own wrestling franchise with its own original gameplay mechanics, and then they could get some kind of alternating yearly system, kinda like Activision has done with CoD. A wrestling nerd can dream...

Wrestling games have the same issue as sports games with the fans always looking horrible. I would love to see that addressed in the next-gen games.

That's pretty much the only reason I have a passing interest in this title. It'd be interesting to see what they do with a maybe slightly more polished game (though I don't know if that's asking too much).

I really thought that's what WWE All-Stars was going to be - but as it turned out, I guess not.

Why did that happen anyways? Did WWE All-Stars just not sell enough? I imagine that's what had to have happened. I mean if consumers don't speak up with their dollars, nothing will ever change. Madden is the perfect example of that.

Since it's a 2k WWE game, I'm just going to assume it turned out not good.
