Looking up on Twitter to see if there's a weed enthusiast/presidential campaign parody account using Joe Budden and find the actual Joe Budden's account instead. Not shocked to find out he's a podcast host, and at least one fan is cheering on his "asshole Joe" energy. Maybe he's like hip hop's Joe Roegan... oh man. So many more mistaken identity jokes to mine from this rabbit hole.

I actually started watching a Mario van Peebles production on Netflix the other day! Superstition is a show where a family fights against the supernatural in the town of La Rochelle. It's pretty good, so far, in that I don't think the characters are overtly stupid as a plot point too often. It's got a real weird hazy color, though.

My knowledge of Joe Budden is that he had one popular hit in the late 90s/early 00s and is currently transitioned into a bitter old-head with his own podcast.

ADD: The ability to jump real high, but without the ability to survive the landing might it cool to do a base jump without having to sneak into the top floor of a building. That's probably the only use, though.

@alex Haven't seen it mentioned yet but Masa was throwing you into the wood because once you hit it three times it breaks and you can throw someone for a ring out, might help in a future fight.

That is right response for Joe Budden. A one-hit wonder who found a second career being the Adam Corolla of Hip Hop. An unfunny, talentless and bitter loud mouth podcaster. It hasn't been brought up but it is disappointing that DMX is not in Fight for NY.

I'm fairly sure Lil' Kim would mop the floor with Carmen Electra, in 2004 or any year. As an aside, I wonder how they determined the stats in this game for the celebrities, e.g. who's fastest, who can walk off a piledriver, etc.

Edit: As a fan of the 'Hitman' series, the bar fights are giving me flashbacks to that stupid sequence in 'Absolution' where you have to quick-time-event your way across the floor towards the bartender (somewhat-scuzzy-looking visuals included.)

@tarmander: The twitching gets me, too. Reminds me of too many wrestling accidents.

On a slightly brighter note, it really demonstrates how the little details beside graphical fidelity (or otherwise) count, you know? The kind of thing I love about games, even if this particular detail makes me wince.

This game has the right balance of silly but seriousness that makes these cutscenes enjoyable. There must be a word for this balance but I don't know if it exists.
