I honestly thought Striker was a Jam cameo (Guilty Gear) until I looked it up. They’re the exact same character! As an aside, Crusader’s weird small baby face is such an odd looking thing, such an off-putting design.

Update: Those near full screen normals are fucked. Played a few matches and decided to get a refund, the presentation isn’t enough to keep me in this one (not that it looks that good anyway, feels like a very cheap product).

So great we can see Tam and Jason doing a QL for a fighting game. Just wish it was a bit longer - I'd watch them fuck around with DNF for an hour

Also wish it was longer. Love listening to Jason breaking down these games with like minded individuals (i.e. Jeff and Ben, and now obviously Tam).

@giantrobot24: I believe they said they recorded one and it got messed up so this is Attempt #2.

Although they lean into ASW for the marketing I think the actual gameplay design in this was mostly done by 8ing.

I kinda agree with Tam in that it even though it looks good it clearly feels more like a side-project that isn't going to stick around longterm unlike something like Guilty Gear Strive.

Also, yeah, now they have another person into fighting games with Tam I'd love to see some more long-form fighting game coverage.
