E3 2010: Driver: San Francisco Interview

Edit: I hate the previous driver games. But I'm in the mood to watch this video thoroughly. Yay!

A new Driver game!?! Man, if only I hadn't been totally screwed by EVERY DRIVER GAME before this. Guess what I will not be buying. Hint: This Game. 
 
EDIT: Also, I think I prefer the GTA method of making parodies of cars to actual licensed cars. Cause... I don't know jack about real cars, but I see them enough to enjoy stealing one and laughing at the car's model name and company. So I at least I get a dumb joke out of it.

This guy seems like he thinks he's too important to be interviewed by Jeff... 

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the original Driver, so I really want this to be good.

Its on MAC that is pretty cool.

That guy is so important. He's innovating the fuck out of the industry.
 
Driving in an open world is innovative. Walking around, stealing cars is innovative. Switching cars quickly is just a weird childish gimmick. Will get old fast.

I loved Driver: Parallel lines. This game 'seems' lame, maybe it isn't. Tanner or whatever his name is - is a pussy they should have used a better character.

I'm so psyched for Driver:SF.  I'm a huge fan of the series and this will be a day 1 purchase for me. It looks so much fun. Just hopping it wont be a buggy mess like 3.  

good interview, hopefully this can be a return to form for the franchise, the premise seems interesting enough.
 
Also, you americans are retarded when it comes to judging british people.

I am going to play this game with the cockpit view.

Keeping my eye on this one. The whole coma bit still sounds completely ridiculous to me and I like it.

They made Destruction Derby? I loved that game!

No idea they made Destruction Derby, loved that series back in the day. Updated version would make a cool XBLA/PSN game.

Agreed a destruction derby game for XBLA/PSN would be awesome as that game took a good chunk of my time before going into other games.

Cops in comas remind me of Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes. Which also reminds me I should watch series 3.

I probably won't, but if I buy this I doubt I'll get very far in the main campaign with all the cars I'll be crashing into each other.

Pretty good interview.

I thought Martin was very professional considering he's creative director and not PR and I think Jeff seemed like he was appreciating that.

So its a driving game.

Great   interview, Jeff asks interesting questions. Game looks surprisingly good.

Reflection were the dogs pijamas the last 2 generations. 
 
Give them back the Stuntman series please!

Huh? The dude seems totally like a nice fellow and totally professional.

Driver (the first one) was one of my favourite games back on the PS and still one of my favourite games (from fond memories). Driver 2 was perhaps the worst games I ever played and one of the few I quickly returned after a day because it was so atrocious.

Lol people dont know arrogance. Dude was sincere and a good interview. Stop judging people all of you :|
