E3 2011: Tomb Raider Interview

really looks like they're trying to one-up uncharted 3, with the whole relatable protagonist, beautiful set pieces and environments and quick time events. i want to see more of the combat and gameplay mechanics.

Game looks awesome and this Lara is WAY hotter than big tittied Lara (not that this Lara isn't big tittied but you get what I'm saying).

I have high hopes for this. As a long time TR player, I'm glad the old girl is getting a bit of vulnerable humanity instead of being the same dual-pistoled badass.

Props for them trying something new with the franchise instead of just doing more of the same.

Wow... This blew my mind. O____O I will be following this game closely. I liked the first games on PS1 a lot, but it just went downhill, imo. I love how they're focusing so much on the character and that it might actually make us feel like tomb raiders... Haha.

I think I'd prefer the Mario approach to story for Tomb Raider.

Looks ok though. I'll play it as I've loved all of the Tomb Raider games but I just hope it doesn't turn into a shooter like Uncharted.

This would probably rock the foundation of the older Tomb Raider series as we know it, and set the new one as Toby Gard is no longer the part of the TR development team. So this could be the make or break moment.

Very excited about this game! This is the shot in the arm that this franchise needed. I really hope they get this one right.

the only thing i took away from this was how much this guy's ears piss me off.

Game looks good and I really like how they want to make Lara into a real character with depth. Always had a soft spot for the franchise, but this just looks incredible.

Hopefully, she changes her moaning sounds because it sounds like a third rate porno. Looks good though.

Needs more moaning.

Im interested in seeing the combat and it looks like the game is taking on an almost survival horror atmosphere, which I think is a good thing.
