Endurance Run: Persona 4 - Part 01

I think this is about the tenth time I've watched this ER...

Finally jumping in on P4 Golden. I haven't watched the ER before so I think I'll pace this out with my own playthrough. This should be fun :D

@onlykris: Same here. Fun fact: I have a hard time playing Persona 4 because I hear Jeff and Vinnys commentary over all of the dialog. How sad is that?

@71ranchero: Not so sad, I have the same problem, even when I play through the other Persona games!

My friend bet me that I couldn't watch this entire Endurance Run within two months of the new year starting (by the end of February). I'm not into these Japanese dating sim type games, so hopefully Jeff and Vinny's commentary will help me suffer through this. What ever, I'm on break so I'll probably just out this on while gaming. I agreed to post a comment on every video so he can track my progress, so feel free to follow along with my suffering at home. At least 20 minutes per episode times 150 episodes is only 50 hours, I can do that.

The eps get longer later on in the run, but this is a great game and a great video series. Shame that you think you will suffer - Persona 4 is not a "Japanese dating sim." It is actually one of the best JRPGs of all time, it's just that they feature high school students, so of course love interest type stuff does happen. It doesn't get in the way of the game at all, and actually adds to it's charm and quirkiness.

Well its super foggy right now in my area, which is pretty rare in arizona. So naturally I thought of Persona 4 and the ER and its time to watch it again.

The Persona 5 trailer got me hyped for more Persona, so started to watch this thing again for, I don't know, the 30th time or something at this point. Nothing stops the Endurance Run.

Finally getting around to watching this the whole way through after all this time. It's super interesting to compare to features now and see how the duders have developed their skills in the years since.

Started watching this again from scratch for the 3rd time last week! Still fun to watch.

I've had 95.1 GBs of my HDD dedicated to P4 ER for quite a few years now and I don't plan on changing that anytime soon.

Still my favourite thing on the internet. Such a special series.

Starting for my second time after seeing the 7th year anniversary thread for this. This was such a big part of my life for months! I think I cried at the end.

Ok everyone talks about this all the time. I finally decided its time to start watching it...maybe even inspire me to play that copy of Persona 3 I have sat untouched.

@dunchad: Same here (though mine comes to 97.2GB for some reason). I suspect even if GB closed down (and I don't see that happening any time soon!), this and most of the other content on the site would be re-uploaded by someone (just checked and my Giant Bomb folder is about pass 600GB which is a little crazy :p )

I have begun my own personal crusade of listening to all the old Bombcasts and I feel it's impossible to continue without watching this legendary Endurance Run.

Well its summer again and is actually my last summer as an undergraduate so there's only one thing to do. And that is watch the P4 Endurance Run again.

Am I insane for wanting to watch this again for like the 10th time after seeing the ER start again with Shenmue? Persona fucking 4 man. This entire video series is simply legendary. Amazing game, perfect duo with Jeff and Vinny...sigh. The memories.

I've had an early game save on my Vita for P4G for I don't know how long now. It's time to admit that I'm never going to go back and play the rest of that game. It was good, but I don't want to spend that many hours on a handheld. Guess it's time to get the story in before 5 comes to the US.

Shenmue ER comes out and here I am again.

Shenmue ER made me really nostalgic for this series. I think this will always be my favourite thing on the site.
