Endurance Run: Persona 4 - Part 150

That woohoo made this entire run worth doing.

Because, I mean, it's funny how you just happened to stumble onto the true ending >_>

Based on how they laugh at Chie's text message spelling, their minds would have been blow by Maya's social link in Persona 3.

"...Right?" *Dojima's serious face* I was laughing SO hard at that part. and when you finally saw the Gas Station Attendant, "AHAH!"

Yip, fluffy mufflers, scathatch's, galactic punting tanks, and the meat dimension. Best 90 plus hours i've spent.

It's weird watching this and hearing them talk about PAX from LAST YEAR.
I'm so disappointed they didn't finish their social link with Fox over a stupid goldfish. I can imagine how the goodbye to Fox would've gone down...

Again, it's so cute how they pretend to not know how to get the extra ending.

Oh man it was genuinely sad seeing the empty school with that music playing. 

Oh god.. I didn't remember the game was SO persuasive when it came to the 'hey dude you don't want the real ending'. I'm all for multiple endings but that was lame.

I love the girls in this game. Why can't I meet a girl that doesn't require that I speak. Girls these days can be so demanding.

P4 ranks highly among my favorite games of all time, even before the ER. But yea, this whole ending thing did bother me in how they handled it.

It didn't make sense, they make a fuss about a "conductor" and who gave the powers to everyone, but the giant eye already told them exactly how it all works. The only thing they didn't know was the specific scenario of how Charlie got the power, and honestly, it's meaningless information in the grand scheme of things. I wish the eye didn't tell you anything whatsoever.

And hiding the true ending behind so much deliberate deception really doesn't help the message of the game. If J&V didn't know the info beforehand, it was by pure dumb luck that they "figured" out the secret.

It just got exhausting to have three(?) fake-out endings in a single game, and you can definitely hear it in their voices.

That is, unfortunately, one of the hallmarks of JRPGs and one of the biggest things that separates them from most WRPGs. Even going back to the SNES days, RPGs held MASSIVE swaths of content back unless you explored every pixel at every opportunity. And since some of it was time-sensitive, you'd never know if you missed certain things or not. This game makes it pretty clear it's a trend that isn't going anywhere.
