I started yelling when I saw how late in the day they bought the ticket. The pay off was worth it.

Hah! The bed quilt cover thing. In Japan they change out a bunch of stuff when the weather gets cold, the bed quilt being one of them. That's right, why bother with comforters and sheets when you can just swap everything out twice a year? Why not do the same with your entire wardrobe, too? Fun!

I am fucking loving how fast they turned on Tom when they realized he hangs out at the warehouse. Probably my favorite gag so far.

@shaunk: Funniest part about that is Vinny forgetting that Tom didn't actually lie; the game never even let Ryo ask him about it in the first place hahaha.

Holy crap, I did not realize that. I just finished the episode, their hatred of Tom along with their general dislike of Fuku San is some of the hardest I have laughed at an endurance run.

@gregalor: You're right. Maybe I should have said 'because of the bullshit with the travel agency making you wait a whole day, this videogame seems really boring and unappealing to me.' But I didn't feel like typing that.

Does anyone know the name of the track that starts around 31:50? I've dug through all the Shenmue soundtracks I know of, but I can't find it.

@dudelongcouch: No, I meant the Christmas-y music playing underneath that (I guess I didn't know it was two tracks overlapping). It fades as they move to a different area, so I guess it's supposed to be playing from a certain location, but that's not helping me find it.

I want to say that reverse phone books did exist but they weren't distributed to the public directly. This was a very long time ago and I'm not sure if i'm remembering this right but i think you might have been able to ask at a library to see a reverse phone book. If that not, you probably could ask on the phone company's information line. Like i said it was a long time ago though. I'm 33 and phone book information had already started to be available on the internet around my early teens.

Alex; I relate to you, despite me liking that fact or not.; I get grumpy, I like playing up the grumpiness in a theatrical way, even when I'm not grumpy, however...

Shake Shack burger + Five Guys fries would just about be the perfect fast food meal. I never go to Five Guys anymore because the burgers kind of suck, but man those fries. Shake Shack on the other hand, great burgers, but crappy crinkle cut fries. There's no way I'm going to two fast food joints to get a meal though, and I probably don't need the fries anyway... Oh well, I can imagine it at least.
