@vinny Small note on the Oxygen Filters: Those are consumables, they give a limited amount of oxygen and are then destroyed. What you were looking for is the Small Oxygen Tank, that's the one that attaches to the backpack and is rechargeable.

It's the same with the power stuff: The Power Cells are the consumables, while the Small Battery can be recharged thus giving more power capacity on the backpack.

It took me also a while to wrap my head around that because imho there really is no reason to craft those consumables.

@vinny@brad If you want to create true flat surfaces, there is a terrain tool mod you can research called the Alignment Mod. This can be used to create perfectly flat walls or flat ground.

Also, as to the chair operating the vehicle from the back, the pilot is whoever gets in first. If you jump in the front first, and then someone else jumps in a rover seat in the back, they can tag along as a passenger.

I can't tell you how happy I am to see a second part to this.

"Brad & Vinny's Survival 101" series is my favorite new series. I like the early season episodes where they played Satisfactory too!

IF you do end up reading the comments then first of all thanks for the wonderful stream and second, now that you researched the “tables” you can use them as a sort of queue for all your machines. Connecting the storage containers to machines will mean the machine automatically consumes what is on the table and to ease your sense of order will even spit the refined finished product back on the table instead of the ground!

I could watch this all day.

Started playing this (it's free on game pass) due to this stream

@brad you should know that if you put a generator and its fuel on the same structure (meaning whatever storage modules + tables you want to snap together) then the generators will help themselves. It's way easier to plop a medium storage with 8 organics onto generator table vs. manually loading 8 small generators. You may also want to stick some small wind turbines on the empty slots on the shelter.

Actually this works for other machines too but particularly convenient for generators.

You should also look into the larger storages (they are meant to be combined with the medium storage).
Also you're basically at the point where you should consider going to the moon / other planets to get resource types that aren't available on the first planet.

Pretty much no chance they're going to read these comments, but another tip: they originally built the tractors with the intent of bringing research items back. Research items can not be carried on the medium storage objects they put on their trailers. They require a tier 2 slot.

PS the tall "storage" is indeed pretty much meant for lights.

Haha the Brad and Vinny stand keep on delivering. I think they like niche Xbox products more than expected haha. State of Decay, Sea of Thieves, Astroneer (not first party but somewhat associated).
