I stood in line for way too long when BK first opened here and when I finally got my meal, it tasted like it had zero salt. Haven’t been to one since.

Best and worst concert experience for me was the same concert. I went to Ozzfest 2007 (I think that's the year) and saw everyone from Dragonforce to Crazy Town (of COURSE they played Butterfly at Ozzfest). The best that day turned out to be Disturbed. Really shocked how great they were live with their delivery and energy. Worst was the headliner System of a Down, which bummed me out. They had little to no enthusiasm and kept actually interrupting songs to sing/rant about the government.

Also, no matter which side of the debate you're on in regards to bowls/plates, just remember that spoons are basically little bowls on sticks so you're probably team bowl one way or another.

I never really made a conscious decision about plates or bowls. It just feels like plates are for the actual main course & bowls are for liquid openers & desserts.

Polenta is, depending on where you are, either the porridge made from ground corn, or the ground corn you use to make the porridge with. You can eat it either as a sort of mashed potato dish, or chill it in molds and then deep fry or bake it so it's crunchy outside but fluffy inside(Which is I guess why Jeff thought it was "potato-y"). Haha. So from the looks of the comments, it was a GOT spoiler? I can see that cause anything else, I don't see Giant Bomb censoring. They're pretty open about putting it all our there.

Also, Vinny is bang on with the plates. Very seldom does my family eat anything besides soup and cereal with a bowl.

This is a completely unreasonable overreaction but it's really disappointing no one is talking about that sugar glider game Away that was shown during the Sony thing, it looks interesting as hell and immediately became one of my most anticipated upcoming games.

The Matrix does suck.

Edit: woah woah what the fuck the new Mad Max is not "mindless." The plot is relatively simple but the care and character put into each interaction and each moment between the main crew is some of the best development I've seen in recent movies period. It's almost unheard of for an action blockbuster to have such intricately-developed relationships.

The plate/bowl discussion disturbed me more than any Dan comment for a good long while. Liquids and certain rice bowl dishes belong in a bowl. The rest go on a plate.

I'm honestly surprised how many people are backing the plate side in the comments here. 100% agree with Abby's rules about when to use a plate. Bowl by default for sure.
