I was a little disappointed to find out that Baldur’s Gate 3 is turn based. I wanted it to be the same as the first two.

I wish Vinny would finish D:OS2, would love to know what he actually thinks. It's probably my favorite RPG ever made and I can't wait for Baldur's Gate 3.

I don’t know how long it’s been going on but there’s been a trend of making tabletop games out of things you remember as a child. Not just Blockbuster, but I’ve also seen games inspired by Legends of the Hidden Temple, Choose Your Own Adventure, and MacGyver (the old show, not the CBS revival). A lot of them are in Target stores for some reason.

Vinny and Mike got me excited for Baldur's Gate 3. I'm mostly excited because I played through D:OS2 for the first time last year and absolutely loved it so I have a lot of trust in Larian at the moment. Thought the story was sort of ho-hum up until you learn the truth about the silent monks, then I was INTO it pretty much to the end. I also just love the minutia of D&D despite not having a group to play it with for well over a decade and never playing anything close to a full campaign. Still I like to occasionally just read the core rulebooks and imagine a better world where I had nerdier friends. >_<

We've come full circle on the live streaming y'all. How quickly we forget that Twitch started as a spinoff of Justin.tv; a dude who literally just live streamed his life. And Periscope still exists; where the idea was that you'd put your phone in your shirt front pocket and stream, a literal periscope to someone's life.
