Game Mess Mornings 07/27/22

I love the discussion about GTA 6 punching up more, and I really hope to see them direct their satire and jokes at people in power except for the vulnerable. I will say, though, to Lucy's point about "Florida man," pretty much all Florida man jokes are just punching down. In almost every case when you see those wild-ass stories about Florida it's people who are poor, who are addicted to drugs, who come from impoverished and neglected backgrounds. I really hope that's not where GTA 6 goes, because that's just another form of punching down that some people have deemed culturally acceptable.
