This was a great episode, and Abby fit in like she has been with the team for years, looking forward to more in front and behind the camera from her, and that ending oh boy, think I woke up the whole block with my laugh.

Can't watch in full screen as mentioned before, it seems the player still "sees" the mouse (not a programmer so no idea what the term would be) and thus keeps the progress bar up. I finally used the full screen in browser mode (or whatever it's called) and when I moved my mouse to the top of the screen above the player the progress bar disappeared. Much better that way and I only lost a bit of screen.

Nice to see a good fit with Abby, very well done and enjoyable. I think they need to come up with a series of short segments with Abby called 7 minute Abs.

ok that was great. @vinny Don't know abs handle yet and it was obvious she was incredibly nervous at first (was this her first time on camera?) but she went from nervous laughs to by the end making GREAT jokes and PERFECT boss pantomime. Great work girl - and I can't believe you don't have friends outside of work. But you got a whole website of them now.

@jgzilk: I thinks that's more a Dan thing in needing to give lengthy explanations even if it involves creating "ground rules" and point systems to give himself something to explain.

Vinny's on fire with all the tech shenanigans. Don't ever stop.

That first game was kinda trash, but they pulled through with the rest, even if the chatter and banter was the main draw for me here. Abby seems like a good fit, happy about that.

It can't be easy to come in new to a group of people, some of who are much older, that all know each other pretty well at this point and that already have a well established rapport, and be able to get anything said in a conversation. I'm looking forward to seeing Abby a few months from now, once she's found her rhythm with the rest of the team.

I'm assuming she wasn't a fan of the site prior, seeing as how she wasn't familiar with the games they played, and I think that's good. The site needs that kind of perspective as much as it needs that of a former intern and fan like Ben. (maybe more, but I don't really wanna discredit Ben in any way, he's been great.)

Here's to a good continuation, things are looking up!

@sen0r_awes0me: I was having this problem, if you have a Touch Enabled™ device, you need to click/touch on the video and then the progress bar will eventually go away, mouse click does not do this.

I haven't watched Giant Bomb stuff in a few months, VInny just drank the ranch soda and I'm crying laughing so this is a good start. I've had the corn soda these guys make and it tasted like boiled ass.

Does Abby primarily play games on PC or PS4? I noticed during Mount that she had to look down at the Xbox gamepad for the buttons.

It wasn't "mansplaining"/patronizing. She was new to some of the games and unfamiliar with their mechanics and goals. They'd have explained it the same with anyone in that position, just being good hosts.

I'm also having this issue even though it was perfectly fine yesterday. The bar only stays visible in full screen mode on both Firefox and Chrome for Windows 8.1.

If anyone gets sick, remember to blame Dan.

I feel bad for buying about four energy drinks a week. 12 sodas a day though.... I'd feel sick all the time.
