Yeh I haven't been digging the bombcast in recent weeks either. I keep listening cause there is usually a somewhat funny moment or two. But the overall quality is not what it used to be.

I could not disagree with both of you more. Last weeks Bombcast was amazing, and while this one didn't have as high of off-topic humor quality as last weeks, it was still very funny, and on the whole, very much enjoyable.

The only thing I'll give you guys is that Patrick does talk for quite a long time on this Bombcast, which is fine by me, but I can see why some people would get annoyed or something.

The same type of design philosophy that makes Spelunky great is also why the Souls games are great. Yet those decisions are praised in Spelunky, then criticized in the Souls games.

Whirlwind sprint doesn't go up at all. The teleport can get you to higher ledges.

I'm not surprised that Brad was surprised that only Windows Ultimate has language options. I got Home Edition and immediately punched myself in the cock after I found this out.

My favorite part of Dawnguard so far is the random silver book I found in the burnt Vigilant lodge, that upon reading pointed my to this huge new Dwemer ruin, that (as far as I know) is unrelated to the vampire quests. It's pretty huge, and the potential rewards are amazing.

Oh, and that I heard I can turn my wife into a vamp.

This is really nit-picky, and I don't know if this has already been said, but Vibri from Vib Ribbon is a she, not a he (according to the game manual).

They've never missed a Tuesday in their timezone.

according to both drew and jeff's twitter, they had some technical difficulties and they almost lost the podcast. so that's the reason for the delay. but they seemed to have saved it, and its getting edited now.
