Terminal March is such a good track.

I like Saints Row the Third but I can already see myself getting irrationally angry at my laptop over the hyperbole Ryan and others are using regarding that game. Fun and reasonably clever but repetitive, regularly infuriatingly frustrating, repeatedly broken and often boring. And Burt Reynolds is in that game for all of a minute. But then again it is a very Giant Bomb game.

Also I know that Cave Johnston isn't in the world but IT IS HIS WORLD.

Seriously. That game's soundtrack was amazing, and should have at least been mentioned.

Have to say that I was a little disappointed that Witcher 2 got glossed right over in the new character category, I don't mind it didn't get the award, but the way the discussion died was really disappointing. I was really interested in knowing who Vinny would have picked. Yeah, whoever said "They're new to you maybe!" had a point in that a number of characters are drawn from the books, but the standouts, most notably Iorveth and Vernon Roche, were completely new to The Witcher's fiction.

Donnelly over Rucks!? Donnelly over ANY other LA Noire character!? Seriously Brad......

i haven't read any comments, but i just wanted to point out after having first listened to the podcast that the obvious reason that Wheatley is the best is because of Stephen Merchant, the voice actor - which, unfortunately, is almost mentioned only as an aside by the Giant Bomb staff. He has quite possibly the best comic voice and timing of anyone i have ever heard in either games or radio or TV. He is the reason that 'Extras' is great and the reason that the "Ricky Gervais Show" is such a great podcast and the reason that Portal 2 has the best character of the year. full stop. end transmission.

Not even a mention for Zelda in the music category? The music is fucking amazing! Guess I shouldn't be surprised since only two people even played the game :(

As for salt in the coffee. If you try to make coffee of water from a creek in the fells (mountains) the water is so pure that the coffee does not taste anything. To get it to taste people put very salty hard cheese in the coffee. The salt makes the flavor of the coffee come out. I guess just adding salt would work as well. So there's that =P

Cara Mia Addio from Portal 2 is the best song of the year.

They NEED to make the part where they are singing the eShop music into an iPhone ring tone. Not joking. Help me make this a reality and tell them to do that. It NEEDS to happan.

Vinny and Jeff rock. Patrick is pretty solid. Brad is an idiot though. I guess they keep him on because he is often plays the devils advocate and the show wouldn't have much going on without some debate. But I remember last year he spent over an hour arguing for Minerva's Den dlc over Shaodwbroker. Wasted a lot of time, did not make a good argument, everyone caved cause they were tired of the cyclical arguments he was making.

I hope that doesn't happen this year.

I feel like they've been the least thorough about some of their categories this year... Deus Ex and Zelda not even getting a mention in the music category... and there were some AWESOME characters this year. Not to say the ones they picked were bad by any means, but... come on.

Ah, listening to the bombcast for the first time in a good 8 months. Good to be back!

Bummed that they dismissed the New Vegas DLC so quickly. Some of it's better than the rest, but it's all pretty damn good!
