This is purely my ignorance on the matter and I mean no harm, but regarding the Cosby pic thing with Blizzard, was it known publicly that Cosby was a certain kind of terrible human being in 2013?
I live in Norway, and I've had some European friends ask me since I tend to be the one who knows about these matters when it comes to games, but in this case I've basically no experience with Cosby or his TV Show.

@geirr: 30 Rock made a joke about it years before, and some of the allegations had made it into the media, but because he was so beloved a figure, a lot of people hadn't heard about it. That's why Hannibal Burress calling him out was one of the things that brought it to the mainstream Internet, even though the allegations go back decades.

I'm so mad that I forgot about preordering the Playdate. I was deep in work at the time yesterday, forgot about preordering until 5 hours later, so I decided to wait on it, since I don't want to have to wait until 2022.

Anyone know the name of the game he talked about at the end? Echo? Ego? Seems interesting but having trouble understanding what name he said exactly.

(Not that) Will Smith has played a bunch of it and talked about it on his TechPod. IIRC, it started as an edutainment software to teach and demonstrate. But playing it is interesting with how interconnected and emergent the systems of natural resources, commerce, politics, and whatnot are.

Yo give me a 1 vs 100 game on game pass only and I would be alright with it. I just want that experience back.

IMO, That's No Moon is a really stupid studio name that illustrates a bit of a lack of creativity (they can't even come up with a studio name that's unique and not derivative??).

I really enjoy hearing Grubb's take on the industry. I keep missing the live version but it's a great show either way.

My boyfriend is currently obsessed with Eco. I gave it a try, it’s definitely interesting and cool in how deep it goes, but it’s still just a tedious crafting game at its core.

So there was a Bill Cosby Rape Joke room and everybody knew and nobody did anything. Great. As always. Not saying anything about stuff like that but knowing it is the first problem and it’s always the same. As a victim of rape I’m always asking myself why men don’t say stuff until it’s too late. What are you afraid of. If you knew why didn’t you and anybody else just say “that’s not okay and it’s not funny!” how hard is that. I’m disgusted by most of the people in the gaming scene and hearing people knew stuff like there was a “Bill Cosby” room just makes me mad af. Speak out. Before (!) it’s too late. Tell your friends and coworkers if they’re making bad jokes. And don’t say “we knew but we didn’t say anything” that’s just fucked up.

(When I say “you” I mean people who knew not Jeff in particular of course, I mean people that were there)
