It's not a cover-based shooter 100 percent of the time since you spend a lot of the game zooming around the battlefield at high speeds, but Vanquish says hi.

agreed! vanquish was a pretty fun game. you can get it pretty cheap now on amazon. Its worth the 15-20 bucks you spend on it.

SSX still looks sick even in 40 second preview mode!

I wanna get high on that sweet white powder, so I guess I'll check out SSX.

If Vanquish had multiplayer co-op, it would be king of shooters.

Kind of weird choice of video loop to use from Psi-Ops, I would've thought the random gratuitous insta-gib about 3 seconds into the stream would've been the logical choice.

Let's see... I just find the concept "cover shooter," browse the related games, isolate the ones developed in Japan, then decide on their relative value based on whether or not a member of the Giant Bomb staff reviewed the game and reference that against whatever user reviews exist.

Or I can ask and admit I can't think of any, which then lets some people answer and give them the opportunity to expound on a game they enjoyed.
