OMG...I can't wait for TANG!!

Funny, I just saw a commercial last night for the Chun-Li movie coming out on DVD and wondered how long it'd be until Ryan reviewed it.  Not long at all, as it turns out.

One thing that surprised me when seeing Legend of Chun Li is when Robin Shou showed up.  Not just because this is the fourth fighting game movie he was in (Liu Kang in MK 1 and 2, small role in DOA) but how badly he was miscast.  He would've made an awesome Dan, but insted was cast as a character named Gen.  I call him a character named Gen as I the character in the movie has nothing to do with the charcter in the games.

Thank God (haha he's made up) that Monday is finally restored. I love how intricate and thoughtful that character -driven drama transformers 2 was. There were no disorientatingly long action sequences, and it didnt rely on explosions, and hot actresses laying on motorcycles to get its teenage crowd in the theatre, it relied on how subtle and well-thought out the dialogue and story was, you didnt get headaches or want to stand up in the middle of the movie and throw a molotov cocktail at the screen, and laugh as it bursts into flames and thank God (once again he's imaginary) that the unfunny jokes, random explosions, and the many robot fights, so many you dont know whats going on other than they dont like each other, are finaly over. It must have taken a while to really think out the plot to this absorbing, realistic drama.

I'm pleasantly surprised you guys are even going to look at BlazBlue :)

The Rolling Stone hated Transformers more than the Village Voice.

Aaron Thomas did a similar Retrospective of those games MJ appeared in, i found it interesting, but not as interesting and the youtube video that has evidence that he did do work on the music for Sonic 3, interesting comparisons there! most that i was unaware of...except the credits...that always sounded like Stranger in Moscow to me.

So basically I take two things from this video:
1. This is going to be kind of a crappy week for video games.
2. For the first time ever I'm going to totally disagree with Ryan Davis, for the new Transformers movie is awesome and he apparently doesn't know what he's talking about.
