With holidays and GOTY stuff kicking off, hopefully Alex and Vinny can record the final episode for ME1 before picking up ME2 in 2019.

Alex has actually, literally, killed me when he refused to sell off more stuff, even though it's 8x faster than breaking down into Omnigel and Vinny specifically mentioned it.

They should be able to finish it off before they leave for SF, that's really exciting, this was also a great episode and I hope Vigil's storytime made Alex feel a little better about the whole Reaper thing.

GOTY will be a nice break (ha ha, probably their busiest time of year) for Alex before starting ME2. I hope he enjoyed this game, but I think the Shep Shep adventure he'll like the most will be in 2019.

I've very much enjoyed Mass Alex, I don't think there'll be many more episodes so it should at least be finished before GOTY stuff

Every time I get to that Vigil conversation I'm terrified it will have aged poorly, but nope, Vigil is still cold and calculated but also has a hint of mourning for what has been lost. It's still as outstandingly foreboding as I remember.

sovereign + virgil are the best parts of ME1 (just standing around talking!) I voted ME1 as my favorite RPG of all time in the yearly Resetera poll, in large part on the strength of these scenes.

honestly, very few games have lore moments that can top that combo

Just have to correct you on the name because it's thematically relevant. It's Vigil (which means to stay awake for a long time, accompanying someone dying), not Virgil

Hey all you Mass Effect fans, I've been wanting to share these with you. I collected these tones years ago from an online tone sharing repository and have been using for years.

• I have "Message coming in, patching it through" from Joker
• Kelly tells me when I "have unread messages at your private terminal"
• Edi tells me "Data received, analyzing" when I get a text
• I wake up to "galaxy map"

and there many more. Including "I am a biotic god!", Vigil, the piano score, and the closing theme from ME1 by the Faunts.

Poor Alex, Vinny is hyping up ME2 so much that he has no idea that this is the peak of the series. Is Vinny actually serious with the MU Relay stuff? Fighting a giant Terminator baby? Come on. God it would be so funny if Alex was actually really negative on ME2. Such an overrated game.

So glad they ran into the... politician. A loving reminder that humanity will still suck even in 100+ years.
