I would really like to play Ghost of Tsushima in Japanese, but only if it will have matching lip-sync animations.

I know that it might be a small issue to most people, but I just find it very distracting, especially in a realistic style.

Anyone know if this had been addressed at all?

20fucking18 and we still get closed door demos.... If they can just show it, why make people talk about what they have seen behind closed doors rather than showing everyone?

@toastman: It sounds like they are only now starting to try to organise a Japanese voice track, so details are thin.

Unless I have missed something.

Edit: Oh well there you go, Brad says the demo had Japanese voice.

@crash_happy: Well, Brad said here that the Demo that they saw was in Japanese so I'm guessing that they have a final voice track for the demo portion that they're showing? Can't say for sure of course.

Either way, you'd be able to see if the voice matched the mouth animations from that demo. I was hoping that maybe of the people that saw the demo someone would bring it up in some article somewhere that I missed.

Goddammit...I am so fucking hyped for Cyberpunk. I need to stop seeings videos and articles like this, because I'm worried the hype is gonna outdo the game's final state.

RE2 is a $60 game. That was a really odd thing for Ben to ask about.

@hiczok: I'd imagine the backlash against downgrading the final product a la The Witcher 3 makes them want to hold off the expectations for the general public, but still get the hype out there.

CyberPunk 2077 sounds amazing. It's like the all-encompassing game idea that people have been talking about, but with the systems all interacting instead of just existing on their own.

Showing you reality is not conducive to selling you an ideal.

The talk is vague and open for interpretation. "It's GTA V and The Elder Scrolls and Deus Ex and The Witcher and it looks so cooooooool." Imaginations are sparked and appetites whetted. Mission accomplished.

It's also usually indicative that the game has enough development time left that anything they show now might change drastically by the time it comes out.

In order to avoid misrepresenting their unfinished product, they just don't let you see their product. Anything you imagine or remember incorrectly isn't their fault Anything they show you incorrectly is their fault.

It's boring and unsatisfying, but it's cost-effective and safe. It's a multi-million-dollar entertainment product.

E3's but a walking shadow, a poor player,

That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,

And then is heard no more. It is a tale

Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,

Signifying nothing.
