I really like the look of this, will definitely pick it up at some point.

Been into this ever since Abby first previewed it years ago.

I guess it's expected we watch the unfinished first. Still, it would probably be better to explain what the game is about before diving into the minutiae for those of us with less time to do so. First thing out of this quick look is what specific items Abby has for her car, while I have no idea what genre this is, what the car is used for, how one collects items, anything about story/lore/combat, etc. Kind of confusing to be honest.

The "end turn" sound made me check my phone for a text message. Every time.

damn. the steam reviews on this are harsh, like saying the game is impossible.

There's quite a few GB videos that assume you've watched another video like an Unfinished or UPF, and I don't like that either.

Yeah, I don't listen to their podcasts so I miss out on a lot even though I watch every video they make. It sucks. I will say that for a QL though, knowing a little about the game beforehand is like.. obvious in my mind? To me atelast, a QL is a video saying "this is the game your are interested in watching us play". It's not a review and it's not a article in a wiki.

@hellbrendy: That interest can come from anywhere, though, from the thumbnail image to who's the crew for that video. Most quick looks that I watch are for a game I've never even heard of before I hit Play. They may not be full reviews, but they are Show & Tell.

Only done one run so far but I like the feel of this game a lot. A turn based game that's not about fighting is still pretty novel, and the slow pace makes it feel apocalyptic in a way games don't do much. Looking forward to getting deeper in.

The games RNG is not yet balanced, or won't be if they don't plan to patch it. Everything I have heard about the game is that the only real strategy too it is to always travel as far as you can, and hope you don't get spawned on an impossible map.

Unlike a game like FTL, Into the breach, x-com or so on, where a player is rewarded by perfect play and/or seeing as much content as possible. What I take away from people who have played this much longer is the RNG is way too balanced in favor of "Well I'm screwed from the jump."

Hopefully, the opinions I've been seeing are wrong, or out of date when they fix the games balance. As it stands right now, I wouldn't bother. There are better games that do this out there.

Why would you show stuff so far into the game? There isn't a ton to see.

This looks like a higher-end Organ Trail, which I am INTO.
