I don't like to use the term "weak link", but

To Dan's defense, Vinny did kinda set him up for failure. "Gotta get'em" was the start of it. Leaving Dan to solo the ground level while Vinny was idling on the higher level was the big reason. Vinny could better support Dan by fighting at his back and transitioning to the higher level as needed.

I just hope they know the boss strat for that level. Please use the "Pause" function to collect yourselves beforehand and during.

Why not split the first set of orbs, so your both a LITTLE bit powered up, then have one person get both from the next one?

Have to agree with this. It's not like Vinny remembered where the wolves were, either. Splitting up may have been part of a strategy to cover both tiers, but that means it's not exclusively Dan's fault when they don't get the wolves.

As the adult in the room, I feel that it is Vinny's fault. He should have known not to give Dan any responsibilities. When has Dan ever completed any objective you have set for him.
