Dan's innocent enthusiasm is so cute =3 Also, I like how "the time-y one" is treated as the official name after a couple of them.

I've never had the slightest hint of motion sickness from a game/video thereof. Is that a common thing?

That Quick Look was a refreshingly quick look. Game seems fun, and yeah @tgjessie I've never had that happen either.

@incslayer: While octopodes is still an acceptable pluralised form of octopus according to some dictionaries, the English standard pluralised form is actually octopuses, which is the most widely considered as "correct". The English language is weird =P

I didn't want to be "that guy", but I do find that fact interesting.

Haha, this looks neat.

It's fun to hear Dan refer to this as similar to Super Mario Galaxy. I've been more of a PlayStation / Xbox bloke for the past... 14 years (time flies!). When I see something like this, I think "hey, this reminds me of Ratchet and Clank. They totally had weird gravity levels and small planetoid stuff, especially in the second game." Not saying that I didn't love Super Mario Galaxy, but it came out like four years after Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando. Fun as hell, but I'd seen the mold be broken prior. :-P

I don't get motion sickness. That rotation speed got real annoying though.

Actually find a short QL refreshing for this sort of game. An hour for Feist seemed way to long.

I agree with Jeff. This is more like Loco Roco. Or Aether by Edmund McMillen. Except less interesting than either one?

I for one had no motion sickness problems, and to this day I still get carsick if I sit in the back.

EDIT: Ok towards the end there I was starting to feel a little uneasy

@lazyimperial: Remember, @danryckert said he incorrectly thought he was too cool for Ratchet and Clank when they were stylish and recent games. So it's not hard to see why he thinks all games like this are Super Mario Galaxy-esque.

@eccentrix: I think that's why I find that to be so interesting/weird, if I hadn't been told otherwise I would have never thought it to even be acceptable. It definitely feels weird to say, but apparently that's the word most (if not all?) scientists would use, and they're probably a lot smarter than I am!

You are not crazy, Sonic Adventure 2 on the Dreamcast was doing all of the Galaxy stuff in 2001.

Of course, Yoshi's Island was doing it in 1995.

I'd imagine most people would naturally say "octopuses" before that one nerdy kid in middle school told everyone it was "octopi".
