Yeah, that seems to be a pretty common thing in QLs. Apparently if you haven't done exhaustive research beforehand you're not fully qualified to be playing a video game on the internet. The academic review board won't stand for it.

@Asmundergunderson: It's a shame, isn't it? Oh, and they also have to be pro gamers. If they mess up in a quick look, they're clearly terrible people who should stop playing games. That's how it goes, right?

kudos to Drew, he is able to talk for 40 minutes about a sport he doesn't know anything about, i could not speak for 5 minutes about rugby

Haha good stuff. The only thing as fun as the game is seeing people complain about the quicklook.

Schumacher, Alonso, Vettel, Massa, Hamilton. Just some of the literally world-famous F1 names out there. Maybe it's because I'm British and I grew up around it. I suppose I am equally uniformed when it comes to Baseball or American Football though.

As an F1 fan, it was a little hard to hear them fumbling through the basics, but Drew is always pleasant to listen to, and he has a great attitude, so this was a fun quicklook.

The game looks pretty good, but I'm not buying it at full price. The handling seems a lot more tactile than in 2010. Graphics look exactly the same though.

It's one thing to not know the ins and outs of F1 but you gotta be pretty ignorant to not know that M. Schumacher is a real person.

All the F# play in the beginning makes Drew seem a lot like Adam Scott. I like that.

God, does my head in that the GB guys don't have anyone who knows about racing games :( - It's all I play!

You'd think by now that games for a worldwide audience would have voice recorded by actors from each country. Other than that this looks impressive.

Heh, Drew makes the same Heavy Rain joke in both F1 quick looks when presented with the weather option. It's fun to watch this, back before Drew was master of all things racing and co-host of GB's premium racing podcast.

If only Drew knew how much he would get into F1
