Random question. How am I able to resume video from where I left off? Do I have to change the video player settings a certain way? It'll always just start from the beginning.

Super dissappointed that they went with the Nolan Batman style. Kinda hated that motorcycle helmet thing Bale had going on.

It looks like her chest plate is five sizes too large for her actual body, and her waist is the width of a small dog's.

It's supposed to happen automatically, but I have the same problem where it doesn't work all the time.

I fucking loved MK9 with all my heart and my heart has always been with Netherrealm and co. but man I'm starting to get tired of their lame-ass "I'm a chick so look at how I hold my hands out all dainty" if only because they've been doing it enough that I notice. It's really the inconsistency but the fact that it still occupies enough of their games of late that it's more of a presence than not and yeah, it kind of comes across as lazy.

Netherrealm has always had somewhat of an out, whether MK being so crazy and DC being goddamn DC, but still, I'm really beginning to wonder who it is that's making those decisions/fights at those meetings because to me it adds nothing to the game and looks kind of stupid.

The game overall though is so goddamn fun to look at and I don't know where these arbitrary animation standards came from that I'm reading but I for one love the way MK9 and this game handle its animation. Granted, I'm not saying everyone has to think that way but I find it odd people are picking on this game for that reason when clearly they just seem to shitting on the game because its made by Netherrealm/its not a Japanese fighting game.

I'll judge the game once I get my hands on it and I'm actually interested in the sheer stupidity of the story mode but luckily I can borrow the game from a friend.

@purplepartyrobot: Now I want to see the epic showdown of Lang vs. Boon... I may never know if the Lang Zone could contain Scorpion and that makes me sad.

When I had found this game wasn't going to just be MK9 but with a DC skin I kind of ignored it. It looks good though. Also the fanservice is really pushing my buttons in all the right ways. I mean they put fucking Atom Smasher in the game.

One of the first few woman in MK games to be drawn with muscle and gets shun down. She's an amazon, she's suppose to look brawny.

I'm more in shock at how bad whoever designed her is at anatomy. Holy shit. How is that okay? It's like someone took a Barbie doll and glued the shoulder pads to it.

I thiiiiiink the HTML 5 player is the only one that does this. Anyway, it's the only one I ever use and it works for me pretty much every time with the exception of some weirdness here and there.

I have to agree about Wonder Woman's character design. However, if you look at real muscular women, like body builders, you see how the muscles pretty much removes the femininity and the women do look more masculine, rather than feminine. So wonder woman's design is actually more realistic in this game than her designs were in the past.

Man, this impressed the hell out of me. I hated MK9, and every bit of previews I saw for this didn't interest me one bit, but hot damn if this isn't a stylish, clean-looking game. Can't tell if I'd like the gameplay or not, but everything from the menus, to the small music cues, to even the damn loading screen just oozes... class? Elegance? Respect for the universe?

I'm not even much of a comic guy, but color me very interested.

My friends and I were addicted to the recent MK game two summers ago, so this is definitely a day-one pick up.

I don't like this weird alternate universe where Harley Quinn doesn't have a belly button.

Excellent QL! The game looks pretty interesting. I'm pleasantly surprised by how well the ridiculous super moves seem to work as a substitute for X-Rays and Fatalities - those are really dumb but quite good. The characters seem to offer enough pretty compelling choices as well for someone that isn't really into comic book super heroes. Quite a few of those simply seem like fun fighters to play as, regardless of how much you know about their background. Nothing will easily come close to MK9 for me but I'm glad NeatherRealm seems to have used their time well with this game.

Do they have multiple Super Power moves? Because in a month or two those animations will, unfortunately, get old. I have the same problem with the X-Rays in MK. Variety would be key to keep animations fresh.

Everything about this looks so cool, I wish it was an adventure game or something rather than a fighting game.

I think the whole "alternate dimension/timeline to explain why superman can fight batman" conceit is kind of tired at this point. I understand the need to explain it so that comic book fans can be somewhat satiated, but if you're going so far fetched with your story...does canon even matter anymore? I'd like to see somebody just say "fuck it", and use these super heroes in whatever context they feel like.

The reason I bring it up is because I was really feeling this game until they got to the scene where wonder woman is trying to figure out what's going on. If I rolled my eyes any harder, they would pop the fuck out of my skull.

That being said, the combat and stage transitions look awesome.

Nice gray and brown game, after MK9 this art style seems so bland.

Hover the mouse over the gear icon at the bottom of the video player. You should have options of progressive, streaming, HTML 5, and YouTube. It's also where the "embiggen" option is.

I REALLY like the Darkstalkers way of handling rounds. Even though I don't really like MK-style games, this game looks super slick.

Have to admit the Demo was decent however watching this Quick look has made me want to get it. Going to get it on PS3 cause I hate the Xbox pad for beat them ups.

Streaming also does the resume. Progressive doesn't, nor does YouTube, I guess. HTML5 I think does the resume as well. Streaming for certain does.

EDIT: Also, HTML5 is not available in Firefox. Chrome and Opera, I think both have it. Dunno about Safari, Chromium, Rockmelt, IE9/IE10...just know it isn't available in Firefox, but is in Chrome :p

I think I might pick this up. I haven't played a fighting game in a long while.

What I learned from this is Deathstroke players are scrubs.
