My PC copy of this game starts me out in a jumping pose sliding across the ground, and I can't jump, trick or fail the level. Bummer because this looks really fun.

I had Soap shoes, they were real dumb. They made walking up/down stairs kinda difficult.

@xanadu: Stuff like this happens all the time with me and Vinny. It's why hes my favorite. Also what Vinny thought a spin class was totally hilarious.

I agree with Vinny, looks like a good PS Plus game. Since I got my Vita and PS4, I actually haven't been buying any downloadable games. There are so few of them on the store, I'm just waiting and letting them cycle through in the monthly Plus offerings.

I don't see myself enjoying this at all...

Thought it was really funny hearing Vinny ask Alex about his old skateboard. Gold.

There's gotta be latency introduced somewhere. It's a super easy game at that point of progression and Alex made it look like freakin brain surgery.

That was a reference to a video they did not too long ago, I forget which one, where the X button was called the cross button.

I thought spin class is what PR people go through to get better at their job.

I have never once heard stationary bicycling referred to as spinning.

I have tried to learn skateboarding a time or two throughout my life. Mostly the go fast style as opposed to the loiter around in the public parking lot failing to do a trick for hours and get kicked out by local security style. Anyway, the thing that struck me is that skateboarding is really incredibly dangerous activity and one of the few hobbies I can think of where broken bones are practically guaranteed at some point. And even further shocking that most skateboarders you will see on the street eschew any and all protective gear.

I do remember the bearings brands though. I got way in to the tech side of things. Hardness of polyurethane wheels and different styles of bearings. Bones Reds. Those were the hot bearings.

Not a fan of the art style, but I'm probably not the target audience.

The skate apocalypse is the best apocalypse.

Was a little disappointed when I finally watched the video, still, neat game though. :D

@alex I was the exact same way when i was younger, i hung out with a bunch of skaters, i would film them occasionally for local skate films. I never skated myself, but i was totally down to bomb some hills lying on my back. Seems so crazy thinking back on it, that my young mind thought "oh no, skateboarding? i'd get hurt" but i was fine flying down hills lying on a piece of wood. I guess it had something to do with being closer to the pavement?

To be fair I think I would do the down hill thing over just standing because the scary thing to me was hitting my goddamn teeth and or face.

I thought it was when you lay on your back and do fake cycling motions with your legs.
