As a kid, the first 3 games I got for my Ps1 were all arcade racers filled with power-ups, haven't really played much of the genre since but seeing as I don't own a Ps3 Wipeout it out of the question so this looks like it would be right up my street.

So it's basically Bizarre Creations taking PGR, adding in the slick menus and multiplayer round-robin options of GRID, mixing in some HUD stuff from Split/Second, and pushing the RT to accelerate?  Oh, and it has challenges and mods like Modern Warfare?
 
I'm sold.

Graphics are really nice....
kinda' wet and dirty with neon.

I like the concept ...reminds me of the N.I.C.E. (or "Have a Nice Day") games.

So this is basically a kart racer?

Of the two, Split/Second is the one I'm most looking forward to.

And I LOVE the HUD on the game. So beautiful.

Reminds me of Extreme G. Such a great game. What the crap ever happened to it? I guess the lameness of the third game killed the franchise.

That was a pretty rad video.  Part interview, part Quick Look EX.  I honestly wasn't sure what blur was before I heard about you guys going to Liverpool to cover it.  Now I see a crazy arcade style racing game with Modern Warfare style load outs in its multiplayer.  Sounds like my kind of racer.  I really wish I'd seen the whole video before the beta keys ran out.  Awesome coverage guys, your overseas escapades are officially justified.

Fact: Bizarre Creations loves neon.

Looks good. Really enjoyed Geometry Wars I & II so I'd like to see these guys be successful.
 
Having a hard time supporting them due to their publisher though.
