How can Brad play Star Craft but not manage this basic game? I normally don't yell at my PC but... MOVE YOUR MEDIC AND ENGINEER!!!! PS I never seen this game!

I've been playing it on my iPhone. Things get really hairy when shields are banged up, the ship is boarded and crew members are dropping like flies. The micro-management is impossible on such a small screen. I'll keep plugging away but.. it will be tough not to whip my phone across the room.

These guys have been notorious for terrible PR. Every time they got criticism and advice to tune the systems and make them more user-friendly they stomped their feet and made a hissy fit. On top of that, they delayed the game a whole year without any kind of explanation or any periodic updates. They're a perfect model of how not to handle things.

This game seems... super generic. A great example of why I never have and never will support KickStarters; it's just bad investing (i.e. no return on your investment and a complete loss if you don't like the product).

True, but also, the investment is (mostly) a very small one. I am going to back a project on Kickstarter called Energy Hook. I've just not decided yet on the amount, but I can just give one dollar. If it turns out complete shit, then that's not a big deal.

It's a calculated risk too. Based on who is developing it, the type of game it already is and what he will do with the money provided, I can almost safely say I will have a dollar's worth of fun with it at the very least. Meanwhile, if it succeeds completely in what it tries to be, then I'll have the possibility of playing a great game that I really look forward to.

I've played it for awhile now and the premise is great but it runs out of ideas after about 15 minutes. Sure, the story is great and pretty funny, the music is fantastic, and the visuals are really cool but it needs more.
