Really want a follow up quick look of some of the better arcade SC2 expansion games. Those could be rather tame or excessively crazy.

"Who is that Warhammer dude?" Vinny asks.

All of them Vinny. All of them.

The first 15 or so minutes give this Metzen "story" all the lack of respect it deserves. Good on the Bomb Crew.

edit: OH GOD, the dialogue. His is worse than ever!

Oh, so THIS is where the "Rorie on Gamespot" rumors are coming from. YES!

The crossing of the streams was great. The game itself looks like more Starcraft which is probably what people want.

Brad GG'ing is not trying to impose his will on the other player, as you seem to be taking it. Its common courtesy in Star Craft to end a match when its clearly over so that both players can move on.

I didn't know the ACTUAL Jim Ross was in on this Quick Look!...wait, RYAN!?!?

This was a damned entertaining Quick Look and actually got me wanting to try the multiplayer. And seriously, haters, keep whining about how easy it is to be entertaining AND play a mentally intensive game.

So did they turn the Zerg into the Orcs from Warcraft? Evil monsters that you then learn are just corrupted and misunderstood. Is Karrigan the Thrall of Starcraft now?

@warmonked: I get where Brad was coming from, most players at higher levels of play know when they've lost and promptly end the game...

Ah, I see... The same thing happens in League of Legends. The problem is (in LoL at least), is that it's taken so far to the extreme, that people try and surrender immediately if they just lose the first skirmish. It's annoying because losing a fight in LoL, while puts you at a disadvantage, by no means equates to losing the match. It's just people being weak.

This was a very entertaining Quick look. I am now interested in trying SC2.

Not sure if my computer could competently run it, though. I'll have to check the system requirements.

I'd love to get into this but I own a Mac and it sorta scares the crap outta me. Even that whole star craft language is intimidating.

I just started playing StarCraft II online yesterday. I've never played any StarCraft or Warcraft game online before. It's not that impenetrable as people make it out to be. I lose the majority of matches, but I also win a few here and there. It's fun regardless.

@zevvion: Starcraft II was the first online RTS I've ever played, and after a few months I was up to Gold/Platinum so it's certainly not impossible, just takes some time and dedication. One thing that helped me a lot was watching videos by Day[9] who's a pretty big commentator in the community, and does the "Day[9] Daily" where he analyzes and breaks down various pro-matches; the most helpful for me were the "Newbie Tuesdays" where he goes really in-depth on the whys and hows. Some of them are more general such as how to better optimize your strategy or how to do a timing attack, and others are more specific such as looking at all the components of Parting's Immortal Sentry attacks. Also he can be goddamn hilarious.

That's really good. Not really what I meant though. I mean, I'm only in the Bronze league, but what I was trying to say is that I still win games, not just lose them. So I'm having allot of fun. I see many people not even trying multiplayer because they are afraid they lose everything which isn't fun.

But it's not really like that. You'll lose your first few games, but after that you win a couple too.
