Interesting spin on tetris

I strongly dislike some of the music in this, otherwise it seems pretty cool with a good bunch of modes.

Vinny's Tetris Boner is one of the funniest things I've seen.

I'm gonna miss the mode where the bottom screen is filled with tetrominoes and the stylus was used to move them around. That was in Tetris DS. 
 
Yeah, the music in Tetris Axis seems to be (mostly) bad. Tetris Plus for the Playstation comes to mind when I think of good original Tetris music; that and Tetris Plus is rad.

To clear some things up, Hudson made this game, not Nintendo. Nintendo only published it.

Ok i'll be honest, I don't really care for the 3DS, but that is pretty effin cool.

Japan must really like the Polovtsian Dance. My mother plays that song on the piano excessively, so I'm really sick of it. It's a nice song and all, just not so nice when you've heard it over 500 times.

On topic - this looks good. I love tetris. When I eventually get a 3DS, I'll pick this up for sure.

He's only messing around some of the time. The rest of the time, he does it to cover up the words he legitimately doesn't know how to pronounce.

For example, in this video, when he clearly isn't sure how to say tetrimino and neither is Patrick. Also, there is a podcast from within the past couple months where Ryan meant to say "disco kitsch", but instead pronounced it like "disco quiche", and then everybody else kept saying it for the rest of the podcast and giving him a hard time.

The good thing is I'm usually weirded out when he does pronounce words correctly.

This is apparently also published by Hudson, so its not actually a Nintendo game which would make sense for why it doesn't have Nintendo characters and just variations of Bomberman.

I dunno, the look and feel of this game screams shovelware to me, even though I know there is some solid gameplay to be had. I wish the music was dubstep remixes of the original Tetris music, or something. Regardless, whenever I do decide to pick up a 3DS, I'll be picking this up with it for some nice puzzling action.

I fucking LOVED Tetrisphere. I played the shit out of it the summer it came out.

Seeing how Nintendo loves recycling old ideas and presenting them as "new," Iwould be surprised if we didn't see this Tetris game start to be packed in free when buying a new N3DS. Nintendo will be thinking: Hey it made the Gameboy print us money, it will make out flopping failure, the 3DS, print money too. Our customers are suckers and will buy anything if Tetris is free with it. hahahahaha" And that folks is my impression of Nintendo.

I have absolutely no idea what was happening in any part of that fever mode.
