This game gives me Zombies Ate My Neighbours vibes and now I just want a remake of that

Presentation and the art really reminds me of Jamestown: Legend of the Lost Colony. Game looks like fun.

This games select screen music is some Sega Genesis ass shit.

Getting a chaos engine vibe from this ... and that is a game that could really use a remake as it was one of the most awesome top down shootin games.

Yay. Was hoping this would get a QL as have been sitting on the fence on this one. On visuals alone it should be right up my street but was rather hoping it was gonna be a roguelike. I know there's plenty of them already but hell I'm a mark from some randomisation.

Been following this game for a while, I really like its art style.

Chaos Engine was like the last good bitmap brothers game.

Man the bitmap brothers were good.

They'd not over looked this if they had come to PAX South last year. I got to check it out and got a free "too small for my fat ass" t-shirt and pin. I thought it seemed interesting but it didn't really grab me.

Controversial statement incoming: Chaos Engine wasn't that good. :b.

The ability to choose different characters with different abilities was neat, but the shooting didn't feel good, the enemies were boring, and the maps were nonsense (for my 11 year old brain, at least).

Been playing through this game, this reminds me a whole lot of games like Smash TV and Zombies Ate My Neighbours, too. Also the very good Alien Breed. Of course its way more modern, with different weapon upgrades and stuff and it also plays very smooth. Its a good experience if you like these type of oldschool action games.

If you're ever enjoyed an Amiga action game in your life I highly recommend it.

Also some old DOS game called Cyberdogs, had split screen multiplayer.

Wow had no idea they remade chaos engine thanks guys. I played chaos engine on the snes and it's funny Jeff mentioned it too. He said it was soldier of fortune in the us but he must have meant for the amiga. That was one of the coolest super nintendo games there wasn't much like it at the time.

This seems kind of awesome. The way it looks and moves gives me some Zombies Ate My Neighbors vibes. But with some RPG stuff underneath.

The Chaos Engine 3, and that's a good thing.

Man, I expected at least Jeff would recognize that the Mana Ball was a reference to the Amiga Boing Ball.
